Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our Utilities team in Falmer, Brighton. The successful candidate will lead and manage engineering design delivery for assigned water projects on our 7-year framework with Southern Water.

About the Role
  • You will provide expert engineering support to the design and construction of the Southern Water portfolio of non-infrastructure, water and wastewater projects covering Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight.
  • Your day-to-day activities will include spearheading and optimising the engineering assurance process, ensuring technical proficiency, implementing design quality procedures, and maintaining compliance with CDM Regulations.
Requirements
  • A degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Experience managing and driving a multi-discipline technical engineering team with a proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.
  • Significant knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and a full driving licence.
