About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works, and day-to-day management and delivery of a larger-scale housing project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works, and day-to-day management and delivery of a larger-scale housing project.
  • Manage and coordinate site activities, including planning, organizing, and controlling resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, site managers, and other departments, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, and encourage a culture of open communication and collaboration.
