About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Acro Aircraft Seating Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement and supply chain function to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of production and consumable materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the procurement and supply chain function to execute purchasing of production and consumable materials within scope and policy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve best value for the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Significant relevant experience in a progressive manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstratable management skills to lead and motivate a team.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Broad commodities expertise and knowledge relevant to aerospace seat build.
  • Relevant experience in negotiation and implementation of legal contracts.
  • Conversant with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes.
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal with commercial supplier organizations.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, VA/VE, and lean/continuous improvement principles.
  • Ability to present data effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • Five years experience in a similar supply chain role within manufacturing (preferably aerospace).
