Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Certification Engineer to lead our software certification efforts for certification planning and regulatory compliance oversight. The successful candidate will have experience in airborne software development and/or certification in a RTCA/DO-178B or C environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. They will also have a proven track record of analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead programs in determining product certification strategy and certification basis
  • Lead compliance planning and determination of means of compliance
  • Support creation of cohesive project plans
  • Review development artefacts, where applicable
  • Perform certification audit pre-assessments
  • Audit project / product artifacts and verification activities
  • Support Customer AR / Regulatory Authority audits
  • Support and collaboration with Integrated Project Teams
Requirements
  • Direct design experience/knowledge with airborne software development and/or certification experience in a RTCA/DO-178B or C environment
  • Working with regulatory compliance related to RTCA/DO-178C
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors or equivalent knowledge and experience

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
