About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maximo System Analyst to join our Asset Management Product Tower at Manchester Airport Group (MAG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, configuration, and user support of multiple Maximo EAM system environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the optimal functioning of Maximo and perform daily system checks according to established operating procedures.
  • Implement small-scale configuration changes to Maximo EAM / Maximo Application suite.
  • Provide support to project teams implementing larger-scale system changes.
  • Collaborate with the data asset data team to ensure efficient data loading.
  • Develop and update Maximo system documentation, including standards, processes, and training materials.
  • Manage day-to-day system maintenance activities, such as data loads, corrections, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Lead the analysis of Maximo system problems, diagnosing root causes, and achieving problem resolution.
  • Manage MAG Group user account information, including access rights and licenses.
  • Lead the analysis and improvement of the MAG Maximo system to achieve optimal performance.
  • Provide data quality and audit reporting in Maximo to ensure up-to-date, accurate, and clean data.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience working with IBM Maximo products/solutions.
  • At least 5 years of experience and understanding of key Maximo functionality, including Workorders, PMs, Job Plans, Locations, Assets, Meters, SRs, and Service Level Agreements.
  • Maximo query and report writing skills, including Excel VBA, BIRT, SQL, and Business Intelligence (preferably Tableau).
  • Ability to estimate reliably the time, effort, dependencies, and resources required to complete a development task or change.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex applications and other system technologies.
  • Experience in supporting Maximo production environments, providing support for incidents, and root cause analysis.
  • Proven history of supporting technical teams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, problem analysis, and solution finding/decision making.
  • Advanced understanding of general database dependencies.
  • Knowledge of change and release management processes.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • SharePoint development skills would be advantageous.
