Activity Coordinator Role

At Bupa, we are dedicated to delivering person-centered care, supporting independence, and honoring choice to help our residents live their best lives. As an Activity Coordinator, you will create a vibrant and joy-filled atmosphere for our residents, planning and organizing exciting events and hobbies that cater to their interests.

Key Responsibilities

* Run morning and afternoon activity sessions, ensuring a diverse range of experiences for our residents.
* Produce and update an activity planner, working within a set budget to deliver engaging and meaningful activities.
* Organize birthday surprises for our residents, making their special day truly memorable.
* Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the care home.
* Support the care team in planning one-to-one activities with residents, using tools like reminiscence therapy, puzzles, reading, and socializing.
* Assist with social media management, helping to promote the care home's activities and events.

Requirements

* A creative thinker with a passion for delivering engaging experiences.
* Ability to manage budgets and maintain paperwork effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring approach.
* Willingness to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
