Job Title: Charge Nurse - Mental Health

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Aderyn, a high-quality step down service for men with enduring mental health conditions. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the quality and management of nursing care and delivering of clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and provide high-quality care and support to service users in a Mental Health setting
  • Support and supervise a team of nurses, promoting good teamwork and effective communication
  • Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes, making critical decisions regarding service user assignments and staff scheduling
  • Be liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
Requirements:
  • A relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment and proven track record of leadership skills
