Job Summary

Care Concern Group Head Office is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team, including supporting with weekly and daily payment runs, cash flow forecasting, and reconciliation of creditor accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Accounts Payable team with their day-to-day operations, including processing BACS/CHAPS payments and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support with the weekly and daily payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting and analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes as needed.
  • Take ownership of the payment and reconciliation of creditor accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the production of the Finance Operations team's KPIs, providing data and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Manager to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage 200 and Xero.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
