North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Management Accounts and providing analytical information.

This role involves supporting Finance colleagues and budget holders within the Fire Service operational and support staff functions. Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing payroll costs for budget forecasting and financial decision-making.

Requirements:
  • Proactive team workers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in Management Accounts and providing analytical information
  • AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent professional qualification
