Primary Teacher for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary PPA Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Lewisham, specialising in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
About the SchoolOur school provides a range of unique enabling environments, both indoor and outdoor, which are used to maximise learning opportunities and meet pupils' specific needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide PPA cover across all of primary - reception to year 6.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Adapt lessons to suit the students' needs.
- Hit the ground running and provide students with SEN needs with lessons.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of ASD and children with complex needs.
- Experience working in a primary education setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
