Job Summary:

ENVEA Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Cambridge, UK. As a key member of our international development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge sensing devices for environmental emission monitoring and production process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analogue and digital hardware with embedded software, from circuit ideation to prototype production and testing.
  • Coordinate EMC tests and ensure standard-compliant design for UKCA/CE labelling.
  • Collaborate with Embedded SW Designers to develop energy-efficient systems and reduce the carbon footprint of our devices.
  • Maintain existing products throughout their life cycle, revising circuit diagrams, layouts, and components.
  • Document work in design documentation, test documentation, and functional documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in analogue and digital HW design, schematic design, and PCB layout.
  • Experience with ideation for new sensor technologies, innovative circuits, and signal-to-noise ratio.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, VHDL, and Python.
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German, and French.
