**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager at Poundland & Dealz. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level in a dynamic retail environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve commercial objectives and develop strategies to improve store performance.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising plans to drive sales growth
  • Work collaboratively with the Store Manager to achieve commercial objectives and resolve any operational issues
  • Maintain high standards of store appearance and ensure all policies and procedures are followed

**Requirements:**

  • Proven retail management experience, preferably in a similar role or as a supervisor/department manager
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel between stores as required
