Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Visitor to join our innovative and forward-thinking 0-19 skilled mix team in Redbridge. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes and reducing health inequalities for children, young people, and their families in our borough.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake mandated contacts according to the Healthy Child Programme
  • Support the safeguarding agenda
  • Supervise colleagues and students
  • Work autonomously and as part of an integrated skill mix team
  • Facilitate and support change in service delivery
Requirements
  • SCPHN - Health Visitor qualification
  • Experience of working within a community 0-19 setting
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary team working
  • Experience of Health Visiting
  • Experience of the Healthy Child Programme
  • Safeguarding Children and Young People knowledge
  • Knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme 0-5
