Market Risk Team Opportunity

The Market Risk team at Iris Software is seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join their growing business in London. As a Quantitative Analyst, you will work on prestigious projects for top financial services clients, applying your passion and experience for quants to establish a fulfilling career.

You will have the opportunity to expand your professional network across multiple Investment Banks and participate in non-BAU projects, including cryptocurrencies and sustainability (ESG). Your Key Responsibilities

  • Working with clients on modelling challenges across various aspects of traded risk.
  • Collaborating with risk practitioners, IT advisory, and Finance teams to support quantitative modelling on clients' complex requirements.
  • Participating in Quantitative Risk and Assurance engagements, including derivatives pricing and risk modelling for market risk and counterparty credit risk.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Quantitative Market Risk Finance or related fields, such as machine learning or data science.
  • Strong academic background, including a 2.1 Bachelor's degree in Computational Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or Physics.
  • Good understanding of Derivative Pricing, Market, and CVA methodologies used for trading, risk management, and regulatory capital requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in FRTB or IBOR transition projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong academic or hands-on experience in software development environments, such as Python, Java, C++, SQL, R, or .NET.
  • Quant background, including experience in model development and model validation of derivative products pricing, market risk, and CVA models.
