As a key member of our Operations team, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing production schedules to meet customer demands.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team and contribute to our mission. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating production schedules based on customer orders, material availability, and manufacturing capacity
  • Making planned orders firm in SAP within the current planning horizon
  • Issuing electronic component shortages to the buyer impacting planned orders
  • Creating build schedules up to a 12-week planning horizon
  • Reviewing plans with Value Stream Leaders to ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Closely collaborating with other assembly planners to ensure uninterrupted supply
  • Working with Value Stream Leaders to overcome capacity concerns
  • EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATING changes in production plans to internal customers
  • COORDINATING discussions between areas to solve issues impacting production
  • ESCALATING critical supply issues to Buyers when necessary
  • Ensuring SAP accuracy of production schedule dates and externally procured material delivery dates
  • Updating product availability dates in system for customer access via SAP
  • EXECUTING exception messages for production orders and adhering to Customer Service Level Agreements
  • SUPPORTING Root Cause Analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • LIAISING with customer service representatives for forecasting and SIOP process management

We're looking for a talented individual with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results-oriented decisions.

Requirements
  • GCSE Level A-C, IVQ Technician certificate, BTEC first certificate or equivalent NVQ level 2 qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • EXCELLENT Excel skills and ability to learn new software packages
  • Knowledge of PCBA and Injection moulding manufacturing processes desired but not essential
  • Familiarity with production/manufacturing processes and lead times
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Numeracy, statistical, and reporting skills with data analysis and interpretation
  • Collaborative approach to working with others

Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Plus benefits including life insurance, pension, employee assistance program, community involvement opportunities, and free onsite parking.
