Administrative Housing Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Housing Needs Officer to join iPeople Solutions. This role will involve providing a high standard of housing assessment and homeless prevention services to customers in need.
The successful candidate will be responsible for making good quality decisions on homelessness and housing need, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures. A key focus will be on reducing the number of households living in temporary accommodation and unsuitable housing in the borough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough housing assessments and provide recommendations for suitable housing options.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent homelessness and reduce the number of households in temporary accommodation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, Housing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in housing needs assessment and homeless prevention.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Arrangements:
- Full-time position based in Colindale.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities available.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits package.
