Secondary Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking Secondary School in Southwark. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of 11-16 year olds, working closely with experienced Secondary Teachers to provide academic and pastoral support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Deliver small group interventions to enhance student learning and progress
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students in developing their skills and confidence, empowering them to achieve their full potential
Requirements:
  • First-Class or 2:1 Degree from a leading UK University
  • Strong set of GCSE and A-Level results
  • Passion for supporting children and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Positive mindset and a desire to make a difference in the education sector
