Job Title: Hygiene Team Leader (Night Shift)

Location: HR8

Pay Rate: £14.50 p/h

Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities after 12 weeks

Gap Personnel, a leading employment agency, is partnering with Newberry International to fill a Hygiene Team Leader position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the machinery and factory areas are cleaned to a high standard in line with the cleaning schedule.
  • To act as a team leader, overseeing the completion of tasks, signing off on work, and communicating any issues to the technical department.
  • To promote food safety and good manufacturing practices.

Key Duties:

  • To carry out scheduled hygiene work and complete relevant records.
  • To have a full understanding of the cleaning systems, schedules, and procedures throughout the factory.
  • To work with the technical team to ensure all activities comply with GMP and quality procedures.
  • To carry out instructions as given by management.
  • To be familiar with the safe preparation and handling of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants used in conjunction with hygiene duties.
  • To immediately report all potential hygiene and health & safety hazards and/or unsafe working practices to management.
