Job Description: As an Adult Community Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for contributing to a comprehensive therapeutic service for patients referred for Occupational Therapy.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues, developing your clinical skills in various settings, including Emergency Department, ITU, and Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. This is a rotational position, allowing you to gain experience in different areas of the hospital and expand your skill set.

  • Take an active part in your own development and seek help when needed.
  • Work alongside non-registered staff and delegate tasks accordingly.
  • You will be supported by a Band 6/7 throughout the rotation.
  • Work shifts, including weekends, and participate in the bank holiday rota.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Maturity and respect from other staff members are essential.

  • A desire to work for UHBW is preferred.
  • Effective communication with diverse individuals is crucial.
  • You should be able to recognize and respond positively to your supervisory needs.
