Key Responsibilities- Support adults with multiple needs in a residential setting, providing personal care, assistance with daily living tasks, and promoting independence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs and preferences of each person are met.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry, as needed.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as Positive Behaviour Support.
- Previous experience working with adults with multiple needs, preferably in a residential setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
- Confident in assisting with personal care, moving and handling, and able to adapt to different abilities and needs.
- Compassionate and empathetic, with a commitment to treating individuals with dignity and respect.
- Driver desirable but not essential.
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.75.
- 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part-time), which increases after 3 and 5 years' service.
- A range of fully paid training in support of your skills development, including Positive Behaviour Support and all ongoing refresher training.
