This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading national recycling and waste management business as a 7.5 tonne tilt and slide car transporter driver.


">Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, ensuring safe transportation of goods between sites.
  • Liaise with customers to arrange efficient vehicle collections.
  • Maintain knowledge of driver's hours and working time directive regulations.
  • Utilize Tachographs, digital and analogue, for accurate logging.
  • Contribute to maintaining a professional company image by adhering to appearance guidelines.
  • Foster exceptional customer service through effective communication and timely deliveries.
  • Complete daily vehicle check sheets and defect reports, upholding high standards of maintenance.
  • Comply with all relevant driving laws and regulations, prioritizing road safety.
  • Achieve excellence in health and safety requirements, minimizing risks in the workplace.
  • Maintain a tidy workspace, promoting cleanliness and organization.
  • Pursue other tasks assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic.

">Requirements:
  • Ability to operate a mixed variety of trailer types.
  • In-depth understanding of driver's hours and working time directive regulations.
  • Driver CPC (or in the process of obtaining) for added expertise.
  • Demonstrate a robust work ethic and problem-solving skills, enabling efficient route planning.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, while also working independently when necessary.
  • Plan the most efficient routes to job locations, optimizing productivity and reducing travel times.
