Transportation Professional Wanted for Heavy Goods Vehicles

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 driver to transport goods across the Preston area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations when operating heavy goods vehicles
- Loading and unloading cargo requires careful attention to detail to prevent damage or accidents
- Prior to and after each trip, perform thorough vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Collaborate with the transport manager to optimize delivery routes and reduce transit times
- Accurate records must be kept of deliveries and pickups, including mileage data
A valid HGV Class 2 license and relevant experience in heavy goods vehicle operation are necessary qualifications for this role. We value adaptability and flexibility in our drivers.
Remuneration Package£25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Type and ScheduleOngoing position with standard day shifts from 9 am to 6 pm
