About the Role:

This position involves providing educational support to students in mainstream schools within the Louth area of Lincolnshire. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior and creating a conducive learning environment
  • Offer individualized support to students, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs
  • Contribute to preparing educational materials and resources
  • Help children develop socially and emotionally
  • Facilitate open communication with students, staff, and parents when necessary

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is £20,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. Additionally, you can expect flexible working hours, including full-time and part-time options, and the necessity of holding a valid driving license due to the requirement to travel between schools.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working in a classroom setting, ideally in a mainstream school
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective classroom management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers and pupils
  • Possession of specialized knowledge in SEN (Special Educational Needs) is advantageous but not required
  • Cultivation of first aid training is encouraged
