Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care and support in a hospital setting, including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
  • Administer medications safely and securely, adhering to NMC guidelines.
  • Manage patient admissions and discharges, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Prepare clinical areas for activities, ensuring equipment is checked and ready for use.
  • Oversee daily management of diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection laws.
  • Provide mentorship and support to colleagues and new staff members.

Requirements

  • NMC qualification.
  • Clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Experience in the private healthcare sector (desirable).
  • Ophthalmic experience (desirable).
  • Cannulation experience (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
