As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in our high-volume manufacturing department, responsible for setting up and operating 3 & 5 Axis machine tools to produce precision machined components.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £15.00 to £18.00 per hour, reflecting their skills and experience in this field.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Setting up and operating 3 & 5 Axis machine tools, including DMG Mori, Hermle, and Doosan with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, understanding tolerances and required checks
• Proving out new programs and building up new tools as per job tooling lists
• Dimensionally checking components using various handheld instruments

With a minimum of previous experience as a CNC machinist or setter operator, you will possess a proven track record of working with 3 & 5 Axis machine tools, engineering drawings, and handheld instruments such as verniers, bore mics, Micrometers, and gauges.

This full-time position offers a range of benefits, including:
• 30 days' holiday per annum, inclusive of statutory holidays
• A private healthcare package through Aviva
• A 4-day week, Monday to Friday, starting at 7am and finishing at 5:45pm
• Overtime available on Fridays and weekends, paid at 1.5 times the standard rate
