Accounting Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team and support the Finance Manager - Operations in ensuring accurate management accounting and financial reporting for Fleet Operations.
About the Role:- The ideal candidate will have excellent financial reporting skills and be able to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data, ensuring governance and providing insightful performance reporting.
- Manage month-end processes for the fleet, including posting journals, controlling accruals and prepayments, and analyzing actuals.
- Prepare month-end reports with analysis and commentary on financial results, KPIs, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial control requirements are met for both Fleet and patrol operations.
- Collaborate with finance teams to improve processes and align reporting.
- Support cash flow reporting and work with the Treasury function.
- Engage in ad hoc projects and support external audits.
- A graduate-level education, preferably with a focus on accounting or finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
