About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at gtd healthcare. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients and supporting our medical teams in delivering excellent services.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a range of patient interventions (e.g. venepuncture, ECG, urinalysis, blood glucose, weight and basic clinical observations) within the scope of Health and Social Care level 3 skills and competencies for patients as delegated by qualified professional clinical staff.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions by ensuring clinical cleanliness and ordering, receiving and maintaining stock.
  • Act as a patient/clinician chaperone as required and undertake mandatory training.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent work-based experience.
  • Able to keep contemporaneous clinical records either written or on electronic system.
  • Polite, pleasant & professional interpersonal manner, both on the telephone and in person.

Contract Information

This is a bank contract with an estimated salary of £26 per hour plus rate enhancement for evening and weekend working. We offer flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, job share, and flexible working patterns.
