About the Role

The role of Pension Expert with Technical Support and Training Expertise is a critical position within our organisation, Transport for London.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver technical training programs to ensure that the pensions administration function receives the highest level of support.
  2. Collaborate with the teams to identify training requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  3. Maintain accurate training records and plans to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  4. Stay up-to-date with regulatory and market developments affecting pension administration.
  5. Conduct regular reviews of the pension administration system to optimise its value to the Fund Office.
  6. Communicate complex legislative changes and their impact on benefits to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in pensions administration, including knowledge of UK legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent coaching and training skills to develop an administration team.
  • Able to adapt approach to deal with multi-task cases and projects with urgent deadlines.
  • Highly adaptable and resourceful to manage several concurrent tasks while maintaining staff motivation and performance.
