Join Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, a leading manufacturer of luxury vehicles, as an Intern in Manufacturing Engineering. This 13-month placement offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.

About the Role

As an Intern in Manufacturing Engineering, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly teams in improving and sustaining their processes. You will work on a variety of projects, from new model introductions to site development, and apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn the manufacturing planning process from concept to implementation on the shop floor.
  • Work on multiple projects, including new model introductions and site development.
  • Apply design and manufacturing skills learned at university in a real-time environment.
  • Conduct data analysis using software products like Microsoft VBA and develop coding skills.
  • Collaborate with other departments and experts in the industry.
Requirements
  • Studying a Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems, and/or Quality Systems is beneficial.
  • Fluent verbal and written English; German skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools.
