You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.

Thorpe Way has a welcoming team who are passionate about their work and have a great and supportive team dynamic. You will meet wonderful and unique characters in the people we support who will enrich your life, bring a smile to your day, and a feeling of a job well done at the end of the day.
You will be able to support them to live more comfortably, dignified, liberated, and happy lives. You may bring your creativity to the role and create activities for the people we support to learn and enjoy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities, such as budget management, paying bills, housework, and cooking healthy meals.
- Provide emotional support and promote independence.
- Support individuals with learning disabilities to access the community, including shopping, cinema, bowling, and other activities.
- Participate in planning and supporting activities outside of the house and in the community.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options
- Full-time: 37.5 hours
- Part-time: flexible hours based on availability
