Community Outreach Officer

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Community Outreach Officer to join our team at Service Care Solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community by providing exceptional customer service and support.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly involving direct contact with the public. They will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen, empathize, and build rapport quickly.
This position requires a calm and adaptable approach to problem-solving, especially when dealing with customers in challenging situations. Proficiency in using ICT software packages for data recording and service tracking is also essential.
Key responsibilities of this role include covering team operations during staff absences or vacancies, ensuring a seamless customer service experience. The successful candidate will work directly with individuals facing challenges related to food and fuel poverty, gathering precise information through effective questioning to assess their needs.
A salary of £12,830 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay) or £14,240 per annum (LTD umbrella P/H) is offered for this position, along with 36.25 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday from 08:45am to 17:00pm.
