Job Title: SAP HANA EWM Consultant - Interior Cockpit Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA EWM Consultant to join our team at Tata Technologies. As an Interior Cockpit Engineer, you will be responsible for generating CATIA V5 Body Engineering CAD concepts/solutions for ongoing and new projects for IP & Console.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of CAD geometry and drawings in support of various closure projects.
  • Design and development of IP topper pad, IP structure, Glove Box, Driver side lower, Air vent, ducts, Defrost grille, Side window demist grille, etc.
  • Console Side panel, Console structure, Top finisher, Cup holder, Arm rest, etc.
  • Ensure data is up-to-date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time.
  • Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence.
  • Ability to check and manage clearance to interface parts.
  • Ensure manufacturing feasibility of parts.
  • Escalation of issues that cannot be resolved to Lead Engineer.
  • Ensuring that all project deliverables are met.
  • Identification of risks to the programme.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in using CATIA V5.
  • Good all-round design skills which must include past experience of working on at least one of IP or Console systems.
  • Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.
  • Team Centre Engineering (TCE).
  • Engineering knowledge of defined component(s)/system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
  • Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.
  • PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
  • BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.
