Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at EMCOR Group (UK) Plc. As an essential member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based in Porton Down, with a competitive salary of £25,095 per annum + OT. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, as part of a permanent full-time contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process stock from goods inwards to dispatch, adhering to client and company procedures.
  • Maintain and control stock levels, ensuring accurate rotation and reporting.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, including monthly KPIs, ABC analysis, and annual stock counts.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to prepare for annual stock checks and ensure compliance.
  • Provide detailed reports and evidence for annual stock audits.
  • Pick and ship items against client systems, ensuring accuracy and process adherence.
  • Ensure all pick and ship notes are signed off by authorized personnel.
  • Analyze and report on monthly KPIs, identifying shortfalls and implementing corrective actions.
  • Report stock write-offs due to expiry, damage, or short delivery, maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Attend client meetings regarding Maps upgrades and implementation.
  • Maintain and manage non-purchase order receipts, quarantine items, and cold storage items.
  • Support Facilities Supervisors during internal and external audits, following up on assigned corrective actions.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in stores and storage facilities to maintain safety and organization.
