Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Climbing Coach to join our team at Moray Council. The successful candidate will provide a safe and high-quality service throughout the facility, maintaining good operational procedures and relationships with members of the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide climbing instructor services.
  • Perform climbing wall duties, including route setting and administration tasks.
  • Manage media for the Climbing Centre.
  • Carry out other duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with people is essential.
  • A background in similar environments instructing or coaching climbing is highly desirable.
  • A qualification in CWA/SPA is mandatory.
  • The ability to climb confidently and safely is crucial.
  • Strong customer care skills are necessary to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • The ability to follow routines and work flexibly is also important.
  • Able to lift and carry reasonable weights and bend/stretch as needed.
