Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Climbing Instructor to provide a safe and high-quality service throughout our facility. The successful candidate will maintain good operational procedures and foster positive relationships between the service and the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide climbing instruction services
  • Manage climbing wall duties, including route setting and administration tasks as required
  • Collaborate with others to perform media management for the Climbing Centre
  • Carry out additional duties as agreed upon with management

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working with people is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience working in a similar environment, instructing or coaching climbing. Additionally, they should be qualified in CWA/SPA and possess strong customer care skills. The ability to follow routines and work as part of a team is also crucial. A flexible approach to work and the ability to lift and carry reasonable weights are necessary. Observational skills, creative and safe route setting experience, and active listening skills are also required for effective communication and interaction with staff and the public.
