About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Radiology Assistant to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a valued member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with radiologists, radiographers, and other staff to provide comprehensive services to patients.
  • Carry out administrative duties, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Support patient care activities, including preparing rooms for examinations, assisting with injections, and providing care and comfort as needed.
Essential Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification in numeracy and literacy or equivalent experience.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using NHS digital systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly with colleagues and patients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards.
Working Conditions
