Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Landscape Architect to join our team as a Regional Lead. As a key member of our landscape architecture team, you will be responsible for managing projects and clients in your region, while also contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Provide initial due diligence and design development advice to clients, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Landscape/Townscape Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments: Produce high-quality appraisals and assessments, including Environmental Statement Chapters, to support our clients' planning applications.
  • Landscape Strategy and Framework: Prepare comprehensive landscape strategy and framework documents to inform our clients' development proposals.
  • Team Leadership: Engage with our team of partners and employees across the UK, providing guidance and support to junior members to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience working as a landscape planner, with a strong track record of delivering projects in a similar role.
  • Qualifications: An academic qualification in landscape architecture, geography, or a similar environmental discipline, and Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills: Strong commercial awareness and experience in business development, with the ability to work on Landscape/Townscape Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments, including Environmental Statement Chapters.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to mentor younger team members and motivate a team.
  • Commercial Awareness: A strong understanding of the commercial aspects of landscape architecture, with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth and development.
