Job Description:

In this part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise with students at one of Virginia's largest community colleges.

Located in Chesterfield, our college serves approximately 13,000 credit students and provides training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach phlebotomy courses to students
  • Maintain a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
Requirements:
  • Phlebotomy Certification with demonstrated competency in teaching field
  • Two (2) years of related occupational experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Clinical Medical Assistant, Clinical Laboratory Science, or other related Health Science degree
  • Knowledge of instructional technology applications, such as the Canvas learning management system
