Job Title: Loader Operative

As a key member of our household waste division, you will play a vital role in collecting waste from designated collection points and ensuring that all waste is removed and disposed of safely and efficiently.

About the Role:

As a Loader Operative, you will work as part of a team to collect waste from designated collection points and return containers where necessary. You will be required to competently operate machinery and work with minimal supervision. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all waste placed out for collection is removed, while assisting residents as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect waste from designated collection points and return containers where necessary.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure that all waste is removed and disposed of safely and efficiently.
  • Assist residents as required to ensure that all waste is collected and disposed of correctly.
  • Ensure that all requests for additional work and missed bins are completed and recorded.
  • Adhere to legal requirements and the Company's health and safety rules and procedures.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Team working
  • Able to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Basic communication skills
  • Good timekeeper
