About the Role

We are seeking experienced social workers to join our Children's Services team in Lambeth. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality statutory social work services to children, young people, and their families/carers, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that promotes their welfare and enables them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide statutory social work services to children, young people, and their families/carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the needs of children and families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Relevant social work qualification (Social Work England)
  • Passed ASYE year (please note we run a separate program for newly qualified Social Workers)
  • Compassion and understanding of the needs of children and families
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and practices
  • Excellent communication skills
