Project Architect Job in Central London

An expanding practice in Central London has a Project Architect job available. With several long-term conservation projects underway, they are looking to add experienced professionals to the team.

The practice offers an incredible work-life balance and clear career progression, development, and employee appreciation. Their portfolio of projects ranges from beautiful historical buildings and private homes to commercial properties and interiors in the UK and internationally.

Due to office expansion and a growing portfolio in the high-end London market, they require Project Architects or Part II Architectural Assistants with strong experience to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work on bespoke, high-end conservation and heritage projects throughout London and the UK.
  • Projects are varied and these will include historical buildings, London estates, large country estates, grade-listed buildings, and more.
  • Collaborate with clients, including site visits and surveys.
  • Conduct project research.
  • Lead and manage small project teams on various conservation projects.
  • Report on project progress to Associate Directors.
  • Produce high-quality design and technical drawings, with detailed joinery fittings in a traditional style.
Requirements:
  • Experience in bespoke detailing on traditional, high-end or classical projects.
  • Must have relevant UK project experience.
  • Contract administration and technical knowledge.
  • A passion for classical and traditional architecture.
  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
  • No overtime is expected, but if worked, it will be paid at an increased rate.
