Aerospace Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking experienced machine operators to join our team at an engineering company in Rugby. As an aerospace machine operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacture of aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines, grinders, and other equipment to produce high-quality aerospace components.
  • Work with precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.
  • Participate in process improvements and contribute to the development of new manufacturing techniques.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a machine operator role, preferably in an aerospace or engineering environment.
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings and understand precision measuring techniques.
  • Flexibility to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, including weekends.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a strong awareness of quality and safety procedures.
  • Full fluency in written and spoken English, with excellent numeracy skills.
