Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at NHS Professionals Limited, you will play a crucial role in patient care by supporting our pharmacy team. Your responsibilities will include liaising with clinical pharmacists and nursing staff to enable the development of our service, participating in audits to improve our scheme, and dispensing and issuing medicines in accordance with our policies and procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medicines, and participate in audits to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clinical pharmacists and nursing staff to enable the development of our service.
  • Participate in audits to identify areas for improvement and develop our service accordingly.
  • Dispense and issue medicines from the pharmacy department in accordance with our policies and procedures.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the principles and practice for pharmacy technicians or equivalent.
  • BTEC Professional Diploma in Dispensing Checking or equivalent.
  • Accredited Technician Checker with a minimum of one year's experience.
