Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a skilled pharmacy technician to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clinical pharmacists and nursing staff to enable the development of the pharmacy service.
  • Participate in audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the service.
  • Dispense and issue medicines from the pharmacy department in accordance with policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.

Person Specification

  • Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the principles and practice for pharmacy technicians or equivalent
  • BTEC Professional Diploma in Dispensing Checking or equivalent
  • Accredited Technician Checker with a minimum of one year's experience
