Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our Parenting and Child Team (PACT) within Psychological and Mental Health Services at Great Ormond Street Hospital. PACT is a multidisciplinary team that provides expert psychological assessments and interventions for children and families with complex needs.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team of clinicians to provide high-quality care to our patients and their families. This will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing consultation and education to other professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address complex mental health needs
  • Provide consultation and education to other professionals on topics related to child mental health
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • Substantial assessed experience of working as a qualified clinician at a highly specialist level
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, and presenting with the full range of clinical severity
