Are you looking for a work opportunity that offers a unique blend of hospitality and adventure? YHA Ilam Hall is seeking a Team Member to join our team from September until February, with the possibility of extending over the summer season 2025.

Located in a captivating location near Dovedale and Ashbourne Market Town, our hostel welcomes school groups, activity groups, families, and individuals to experience this wonderful location and hostel.

As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in making our guests' experiences memorable. Your efforts will be at the core of our mission to provide exceptional hospitality, regardless of your background or experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Providing warm hospitality and great customer service to all our customers, members, and guests.
  • Working on reception and offering insights about the hostel and the local area, ensuring every guest feels informed and welcomed.
  • Utilizing our systems for efficient guest check-ins and check-outs and food & beverage sales and service.
  • Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for all guests.
  • Assisting in the preparation of food in the kitchen and serving food and drinks with genuine warmth, hospitality, and pride that will influence in more sales.
