We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Leonard Cheshire UK, a leading provider of care and support services for people with physical disabilities. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a varied menu that meets the dietary requirements of our residents, working within an agreed budget.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times, meeting Health, Safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement a menu that is healthy, nutritious, and appealing to our residents, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with our care team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and support.
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a care or hospitality setting.
- A recognized catering qualification, such as a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and additional HACCP accreditation, or a Level 4 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
