Job Title: B1.3 Licensed Engineer

Gama Aviation is currently recruiting for a highly skilled B1.3 Licensed Engineer to support its HEMS operation in the South of England.

The ideal candidate will possess strong maintenance related technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a good working knowledge of regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will work on maintaining the AW169 helicopter to maximise availability rates across the rotary HEMS fleet.
  • They will provide engineering assistance for the four AW169 line stations, encompassing both scheduled maintenance and AOG recovery.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the completion and certification of Mechanical and Electrical systems related tasks as defined in the MOE, on the Company's aircraft.
  • The issuing of all approved materials to the work via the Company's computer system (Corridor).
  • All work is completed in a safe and appropriate manner considering risk to personnel, property and reputation.
  • Reporting defects to the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
  • Engineering additional duties as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
Requirements:
  • An EASA or UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence.
  • A strong maintenance related technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors.
  • The ability to work alone and the willingness to travel.
