Overview:

The Schoen Clinic York is seeking an experienced Clinical Administrator to provide exceptional support services to patients and colleagues.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants, and colleagues at reception, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
  • Sort incoming post and deliveries, managing outgoing mail effectively.
  • Manage the "Enquiries" inbox by responding to or redirecting inquiries as necessary.
  • Take telephone calls, direct queries to relevant individuals, and distribute messages accordingly.
  • Take minutes for hospital director, lead nurse, quality manager, and ops manager meetings as required, emailing forthcoming agendas to relevant parties.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings via Outlook calendars, approve bookings, and notify of any clashes to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Liaise with IT support providers to set up new starters on IT systems.
  • Administer petty cash distribution to patients and reconcile receipts.
  • Maintain neat and tidy reception and waiting areas.
  • Restock information leaflets, update reception notice/information boards as needed.
  • Monitor and order stationery and medical supplies.
  • Comply with health and safety obligations, fire safety, and promote a healthy, safe working environment.

 

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems
  • Self-motivated and self-starter with ability to prioritize and schedule work independently
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
  • Maintains professional conduct at all times, remaining calm and in control

 

Salary: £13,104 (Up to)
