About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons to students with complex and additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver lessons to students in small groups, adapting your teaching to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Plan and implement schemes of work, and carry out regular assessments to track student progress.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Monitor the welfare of students and adhere to all safeguarding procedures promoted by the school.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Experience: Experience of working with students with SEN and associated needs, or transferable skills from another sector.
  • Skills: Resilience, forward thinking, adaptability, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
